Sheltech Champions Community Unity: Highlights from the Baridhara Badminton Tournament 2024

Sheltech is honored to be the title sponsor for Baridhara Badminton Tournament, a spectacular event that unfolded on the 12th and 13th of January, 2024, orchestrated by the dedicated Youth Engagement and Development Subcommittee of Baridhara Society. Mr. Tanvir Ahmed, the Managing Director of Sheltech Group, and Mr. Feroz Hassan, President of Baridhara Society, graced the occasion and distributed the awards to the winners, underscoring the commitment to promoting community engagement through sports. A total of 36 teams, spanning three categories - Under 14, Under 30, and 30+, competed in gripping knockout matches, showcasing their skill. The atmosphere was electric, with even senior citizen teams making a spirited run to the quarterfinals, proving that age is just a number on the court. Terra Bistro from Platinum Hotels, the hospitality wing of Sheltech, added a touch of sweetness to the competition with delectable seasonal sweets and cakes. In the spirit of sportsmanship and community building, Sheltech vows to continue championing initiatives that encourage the youth to actively participate in sports and similar activities.
